The Wedding Industry Supplier Networking (July 3)

Supplier for weddings? This growing network of professionals holds regular meetups around the country in a relaxed environment with specialised talks and training opportunities thrown in. This particular event is held at Champneys, so there’s room for a little pampering moment too.

Aimed at MICE professionals ICEDAY and the accompanying awards ceremony has been set up to recognise talent within the industry and to bring some fun and inspiration to event planners. It’s a really fun day filled with honest and interesting talks from people who’ve been working with events of all shapes and sizes. Hear from the events team behind the ITV Studios Global Entertainment Drama Festival, learn from the Army Youth Outreach Team about how you too can attract and mentor young talent and hear stories about sticky situations event planners have got themselves into, and out of.

A conference and trade show for more than 2,000 #EventProfs, this US event provides all of the usual networking, talks and inspiration, along with the opportunity to tour venues and find our more about the city itself.
BizBash Live (July 24)
California Market Centre, Los Angeles
BizBash is a leading name in the US event industry, with great online content, social meetups and regular awards and conferences. There will be a large exhibition floor, loads of great workshops, top speakers and a TED-style inspiration room where experts from all areas of the industry will give 15-minute presentations on what they’re up to.
EWL Agency Round Table (July 25)

EWL is dedicated to the art of unNetworking and getting behind the business cards to create real connections and enjoyable experiences. At their latest roundtable event they will be discussing ‘learning styles’ and the ways this can be applied to meetings and events design. It’s an informal knowledge share so there will be plenty of time to open the floor for comments and ideas, allowing everyone to connect and work together.
Citizen Event (July 26)

On the last Friday of every month, #EventProfs gather together to enjoy a coffee. Strictly no presentations or pitches allowed, just some good, easy-going networking over a light breakfast. Details of location are announced on their Twitter feed in the days before the event.
