August was pretty quiet when it came to networking events for #EventProfs. Thank goodness September is here with all its drizzle and grey skies so that we can really focus on what’s important in life – talking about all things events.

EventPlannersTalk (September 4, 11, 18, 25)

A great way to network with other #EventProfs and learn more about the industry and the people who shape it. The best thing about this event? You can attend it in our pyjamas because it’s held on Twitter. Take part by following the #EventPlannersTalk hashtag any Monday evening from 9-10pm.

Cheese Fest UK (September 16)

Not specifically an event for #EventProfs, but we just couldn’t leave it out. This celebration of all things cheese related will allow you to taste everything from melted raclette to giant wheels of stilton. Ah, heaven is a place in Leeds.

Big Data and Machine Learning Meetup (September 19)

Interested in using data to help quantify your event? This meetup will bring together industry leading experts from across the capital to talk about big data and ways to capture it.

Wed Expert – Social Media Masterclass (September 19)

EN Race Day (September 20)

London Design Fair (September 21)

Old Truman Brewery
Check out the latest design trends from some of the world’s leading designers and creators. The Truman Brewery is bringing together 500 exhibitors from 28 countries. There will be some beautiful interior design and some architectural wonders too, so you could scout out your latest venue or event designer.

The National Wedding Show (September 22-24)
London Olympia
10am-5pm
Designed mainly for brides to be, the wedding show incorporates over 800 exhibitors including venues, entertainers and caterers. It’s a great place to make contacts and to catch up on the latest trends.

Venues and Events Live (September 20-21)
Old Billingsgate
All day
Five floors of event inspiration including everything from venue decoration and catering to gift ideas and great deals on foreign venues. The seminar line up is also impressive, covering everything from Christmas preparation and venues you should know about to a conversation with Raymond Blanc.

C&IT Awards (September 22)

Celebrating the best B2B events in the UK and abroad, this annual awards evening aims to raise the profile of the industry and reward talent and innovation. It’s a black tie event, so prepare to spruce up and applaud some of the finest #EventProfs in the UK.

EWL Club London Lunch & Debate (September 22)

Join the ELW Club for one of their infamous campfire sessions. Discuss the latest trends and network with #EventProfs from across the industry in a small and intimate lunchtime session.

Event Tech Talks: Digital Marketing Tools & Tactics for Events (September 26)

Event Industry News assemble a panel of industry experts to talk about digital marketing and ways to promote your event online. The panel will include Mark Walker, Head of Content at the ever brilliant Eventbrite.

Citizen Event (September 29)

One of the most relaxed events for #EventProfs, come as you are and wind down the week with an informal breakfast meeting. There are no speakers or presentations, it’s just a chance to network and share ideas.
